Inquiry service 118 has become an irreplaceable assistant in everyday activities of many Lithuanian people providing up-to-date information by dealing 118. The only problem is that this service is not popular among younger audience which is more likely to use internet search engines, doesn’t like to pay for information services or isn’t familiar with 118 at all.
So a real challenge was to reach, inform and engage this particular audience by emphasizing 118 benefits, human expertise, efforts and perfect timing. In order to strengthen the professional image and to justify the value of 118 services, we created funny-illustrated rebuses, based on real life situations. E.g., “Have you seen Stephanie? Looks like a brush” – someone called 118 to look for his lost dog; “Call tree security. Hurry!” – the client wanted to reach the Ministry of Environment. The series of these banners appeared in one of the largest Lithuanian news portals from where visitors were directed to a special landing page. Here we put all the relevant information about 118 services, created a contact form for potential business partners and integrated a direct 118 call (for mobile users). Check it out!
